This may be old news, but Dan Ponze (Godspeed) and Yoshio have developed an ECU program for supercharged Type R's.
Goto: http://www.godspeed-motorsports.com
and click on Featured Car. The Type R is near the bottom.
I did an NA buildup last year and had a P28 ECU chipped for my Si. When I sold all of my NA stuff to get my JRSC, I was going to get this program, but since it's for a B18C5, I decided not to since the displacement and camshafts of the B18C are substantially different from the B16A (what I have).
I do not work for Dan and have no affiliation with Godspeed, Inc. Dan has simply been fair and offered excellent support to me and many others. I think this ECU program yielded highly impressive results and is something you SC'd Type R guys might want to look into. I know that he can chip a P28, P30, P72, and P73 ECU. If you've got a 2000+ Type R, you'll need an adapter harness and one of the ECUs I listed since the 2000+ Type R ECU cannot be reprogrammed (yet).
Cheers,
Sonny

Yeah the R is Marc's R. I was thinking about getting it, yet I would rather get a chip down here thats tuned for my car exact since Yoshio isn't close by.

Wow, is this true, I/H/E JRSC and 8lb pulley with this ECU will net results like those. Does he need your car to tune the ECU, or is it a pre-written program. What else is needed to prevent detenation, BTC or J&S.

Please read this:
Marc's car(Mark is the old owner, Marc is the new owner) has the following mods on it:
Jackson Racing TYPE R Supercharger with 8PSI upgrade
Jackson Racing Water Injection Kit
ACT Clutch
JUN lightened Flywheel
AEM Cold Air Intake Ceramic coated RED
Mugen Exhaust (2.5")
Mugen Header (2.5")
C?s Short Shift Kit
Godspeed's test pipe
JUN Cam Gears
Colder plugs and wires
Custom Godspeed/Yoshio computer
Valve train componets (I think just ti retainers, maybe springs too, but I doubt that)
fuel injectors (like 300+cc ones)
Marc's car revs to 9100rpms, VTEC kicks in at 4600rpms. His pulley is a JR 8psi pulley that Mark (old owner got from Dan). Dan (owner of Godspeed) spent numerous hours on this car. In the end he hit 225.6whp and 153.2trq. I believe he might have some other mods, but the ones listed are the main sources of power.
The ECU Dan (godspeed) sells can be done to any R or integ for that matter. What you do is send him your ECU, he chips it then sends it back to you. The accuracy is said to be really good in tuning it for your car. If it is slightly off, just get a SAFC and fine tune the fuel if needed.

Thats good power to me, but Mike, look at yours, you don't have a custom ecu and you hitting 220WHP with the stock boost, so if anybody is amazing, its you, and DSR.....
Keep up the good work bro, and let us all know some secrets.

Yeah DSR sure has done a number on my car! Heck they got a stock R with a used JRSC, with stock fuel system (stock pump w/JR regulator), stock exhuast, intake, etc... to hit 191whp!!!!! Now thats freaking amazing. I dunno, I have done so many runs (75+) that I almost lost track of what we've tried and haven't tried.
The main parts I HIGHLY recommend are:
-intake system (the Comptech Icebox system is probally the best I've seen now)
-header (Kamakaze 2.5" collector w/sphere)
-testpipe (with use of it with the kami header I got 10whp gain)
-SAFC or VAFC (to fine tune the fuel)
-BTC (never tried it, but hear it works well)
-J&S (only if you really want to fine to and protect the car)
THATS IT! That should get your number hig, if they are installed and tuned correctly.
Their are other items that might help and that I'm using, but I'd rather list them once I finish testing my setup to make sure it will help others!

well i've got most of that you mentioned,
except the kami, which i'm ordering this month, and testpipe, which will be done when i find somone in my area to make me one,
The thing i'm debating now, is exhaust, i want a 2.5" but can't find any, I know i'm not spending a grand on a catback though.
The Vafc although not tuned just using Batoutahell's old settings, and no CEL's as of yet, its looking good. has made a tremendous difference in seat of the pants, hope to get it to the dyno soon.
I have no idea how people get a stock R to 190 without some kind of fuel controller, i've tried but the ecu is just dumping fuel, do you by chance no what that R's static fuel pressure was.

Jeez, that seems like a LOT of work! JRSC'd GSR's are hitting that at 6 psi with just I/H/E. What do you think is the main difference between why GSR's can hit that so easily and Type R's cannot? Compression, cams?

I think a lot of it is in the ECU's agressive timing maps and its tendency to dump a ton of fuel in at 7000RPM+.

The reason Supercharged type R's aren't hitting the numbers like Gsr's in simple, The pistons are flat, while our Type R's are domed.., not to mention the aggressive overlap of the cams, the compression only makes are cars not look as stupid when they are supercharged, helping us get alittle more HP out of our motors............
